Col. Vijay Kaushik (Retd)

Chairman

An innovative entrepreneur and inspiring leader, Vijay Kaushik has been defining the vision for, and charting the course of Amplify. A telecommunication engineer, he has extensive experience in the design, deployment and management of fixed and mobile communication systems. A committed educationist with an insatiable passion for excellence, Vijay brings to Amplify a rich panoply of human resource management and team-building skills, honed over his two decade stint with the Indian Armed forces.

Joy Basu

Director

A serial entrepreneur with experience in Information Technology, Consulting and Education, has consulted with clients including Daimler Chrysler, WJ Towell, HSBC, SAS, John Deere, Great Eastern Shipping across the globe. His first start-up InfoTek went on to become the hottest startup in the year 2000-2001 by NASSCOM. He brings with him deep experience of incubating businesses, putting a team together and on business growth. He has delivered solutions for many fortune 500 clients across more than 20 countries. In addition, he also serves on the board of Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) – Department of Technology & Management.

Vadm DSP Varma (Retd)
PVSM, AVSM, VSM

Chief Advisor

He is a former Director General of India's Nuclear Submarine Program. An alumnus of the National Defence Academy, he is a Post Graduate in Radar & Communications from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
The Flag officer has held several sea & shore appointments during his illustrious career of four decades in the Navy. He has held a wide range of Apex positions in technology management fields including that of the 'Chief of Materiel', the senior most technical position in the Navy.
During his long career he has been intensively associated with Naval Research, Academia, Industry, (both Public & Private Sectors), & was instrumental in the design, development & induction of several systems including cryptographic products on Naval Ships & Submarines.
On retirement from the Navy, he was appointed by the Government of India, to head the prestigious Advance Technology Program, as the Director General. Under his stewardship India's first strategic nuclear submarine was launched on 26 July 2009 catapulting India into a select group of countries capable of designing & building Nuclear Submarines.
He has presided as Chairman on various Design Review Committees, & Lab Research Councils in the Defence Research & Development Organisation. He was appointed as a Member of the "Council for Industry & Higher Education Collaboration" an Advisory Body set up by the Ministry of Human Resource Development.
For distinguished services of exceptionally high order he has been conferred with the 'Param Vishist Seva Medal', 'Ati Vishist Seva Medal' & the 'Vishist Seva Medal' by the President of India.
Presently he mentors Organisations & Start-ups in niche domains pertaining to National Security.

Visionary, Process oriented and Result-minded expert and motivational leader bringing in a rare level of business acumen and record of achievements developed over a rich 22+ year career across the Marine & Offshore Industry. Growth and mission-focussed; expert knowledge in Operations, New setups, Process Management, Business Development, HRM, Personnel Management, Marketing, Client Relationship Management (CRM) and Key Account Management.
Building businesses, leading operations, working in a multi-cultural environment and delivering sustained profitability and growth in dynamic conditions has been his mantra.

Klaus Balzer

Sales and Service partner (Europe)

Has 20 years of experience in business development and sales management in the IT industry. Since 2007 owner of Balzer & Partner, specializing in the IT and energy industry. As a seasoned expert in business development and sales management, he supports companies in winning new markets and promoting new products and services. As a former competitive athlete he supports executives and senior management as an experienced and dependable sparring partner. He uses his talent and knowledge from years of practical experience and challenging sales projects to increase performance, motivation and success of his partners and customers.

Prashant Hinduja

Sr. Manager, Delivery

Has over 15 years of experience delivering solutions to companies such as Samsung, Intel, Atos, Siemens, SAP, ARM, TCS, Wipro, AT&T Wireless. A renowned professional in mobility & embedded domain, he specializes on mobility applications development, framework, middleware development, system development & porting. He has vast experience on various mobility platforms like iPhone, Windows Phone, Blackberry RIM, Linux for Mobile (Maemo, MeeGo), Symbian, PalmOS, BREW. He has also worked with Professors in IIT-Bombay for 3G multimode wireless chipset reference design as well as carried out consulting assignments in Mumbai, New Jersey and New York City.

Vikas Verma

Consulting Partner

Has 20+ years of overall experience mainly in Information Technology Consulting and Delivery at leading including Big 4 type of organizations. Vikas has diverse industry expertise across Consumer Products, Telecom, Shipping, Metals and Mining Industries and has consulted for leading global organizations. He has worked in various capacities on system integration and outsourcing type of work in Sales and Delivery lead roles. He is an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad and a Bachelor in Commerce from Symbiosis, Pune.
